A Mother’s Warning
In 2012, Sylvester Stallone’s eldest son, Sage, died at 36. His mother, Sasha Czack, had urged him to avoid major dental surgery. “I told him not to do that… Do not have more than one tooth [pulled],” she said. Despite this, Sage had five teeth removed and took painkillers for the pain.
Speculation and Truth
Rumors of drug abuse, alcohol, and suicide followed his death. His attorney, George Braunstein, dismissed these claims: “Sage was a really young, very sensitive, and very talented kid… There was no indication that there was anything wrong in his life.” Reports of liquor bottles were false—they were cream soda bottles.

Cause of Death
An autopsy confirmed Sage died from atherosclerosis, leading to a heart attack. Toxicology reports found pain medication but no overdose.
A Father’s Grief
Stallone pleaded for privacy, saying, “Sage was our first child and the center of our universe… I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.” He now finds strength in his family while honoring Sage’s memory.
