Actress Tatum O’Neal, 61, touched hearts when she attended her son Kevin McEnroe’s wedding to Fern Cozine in California, walking with the aid of a cane. Photos shared on July 20 show O’Neal smiling proudly as she celebrated with her family. Fans praised her “grace, spirit, and strength” in the emotional images.
In one photo, she stands between Kevin and Fern, holding her son’s hand. Another moment shows her hugging Kevin while gripping her cane, while other shots capture her walking with her son Sean and daughter Emily. “These are stunningly beautiful. It is heartwarming to see you so happy with your beautiful children,” a fan commented.

O’Neal’s use of a cane reflects her ongoing recovery from a stroke in 2020, caused by an accidental overdose during the COVID-19 lockdown. “I love [my kids] so much, but I’d already given so much,” she told Variety, recalling her difficult journey. After weeks in a coma and extensive rehab, she has regained her strength.
Kevin described the wedding as “a miracle,” adding, “I was marrying the woman of my dreams—and my family was together in harmony, which hadn’t been the case in years.”
