A 16-year-old girl from Italy, Maria Antonietta Cutillo, tragically died after her charging phone slipped into the bathtub while she was on a video call with a friend. The incident happened in her home in Avellino, while her family was away.

Reports say the phone caused a short circuit after falling into the water. Her friend, alarmed when the call cut off, quickly contacted emergency services. Sadly, it was too late. Maria’s body was taken to a local hospital for autopsy, and police launched an investigation.
