When Florida mom Miranda Aldridge noticed a small bump near her 3-year-old daughter Camryn’s eye, doctors said it was likely a harmless cyst. But after weeks of delays and persistence, a dermatologist discovered it was something more serious. A biopsy confirmed it was cancer. “Everything changed in a moment,” Miranda recalled.
Camryn was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma, a type of non-Hodgkin cancer. Treatment began immediately with multiple chemotherapy phases, spinal taps, and hospital stays. Despite her young age, Camryn showed incredible strength, even learning not to cry during port procedures.

To cope and spread awareness, Miranda shared Camryn’s journey on TikTok. Her emotional haircut went viral, and soon, thousands were following her story. The family received overwhelming support—meals, prayers, and gifts from their community and strangers alike.
Inspired by Camryn’s bravery, the Aldridges launched a nonprofit to help other families. “We’ve never experienced anything like this,” Miranda said. Through community and connection, they’ve found light in their darkest moments.
