Ten months into his second term, Donald Trump is fuming once again — this time over new approval polls he claims are “fake.” The latest survey by The Economist painted a grim picture, placing his approval at 39% and disapproval at 56%, a net rating of -17%.

It’s a familiar scene for Trump, who’s often clashed with pollsters. Just weeks ago, he blasted Fox News for reporting that most Americans believe the economy has worsened under his leadership. Now, as the government remains in shutdown, the numbers appear to be slipping further.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump insisted the opposite. “After winning THREE elections, BY A LOT, I’m getting the best numbers ever,” he wrote, touting strong borders, falling energy prices, and a booming economy. “These Radical Left losers are showing FAKE polls. I’m winning bigger than ever!”

Still, experts note the data mirrors his first presidency, when ratings also hovered in the negative range. But the defiance, as always, remains classic Trump — fiery, unfiltered, and certain that the numbers can’t tell the full story.

Love him or loathe him, one thing’s for sure: Trump’s war with the polls is far from over.
