TV host’s 19-year-old daughter found dead in Los Angeles as family issue statement

She was young, bright, and full of light. And now, that light is gone far too soon.

Emman Atienza, the 19-year-old daughter of Filipino TV host Kim Atienza, has died unexpectedly in Los Angeles. Her heartbroken family shared that she “brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives.”

Known to nearly a million TikTok followers, Emman spoke openly about mental health, courage, and kindness. “She made people feel seen and heard,” her mother Felicia wrote. Fans flooded her page with tributes — “You helped me through my depression,” one wrote. Another said, “I want my daughter to be as brave and kind as you.”

Just days before her passing, Emman posted a cheerful clip roller-skating and laughing with friends. No one could have guessed it would be her last.

Her family’s final wish is simple: “Honor her by living with compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness.”

Gone too soon, but her light still reminds us to check in, reach out, and love harder.
