A tragic shooting in Montgomery, Alabama, left two people dead and at least 14 others injured, including children. The chaos erupted around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday following a football game between Tuskegee University and Morehouse College.

Police Chief James Graboys said the violence began when two rival groups started shooting at each other in a crowded downtown area. “They did not care about the people around them,” he said. “We will gather every bit of evidence to find those responsible.”
Among the victims was an adult woman who died at the scene, while two juveniles were critically wounded. Three people remain in life-threatening condition, and nine others were treated for non-fatal injuries. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and witness statements to identify the shooters.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. “Even the smallest detail could make a difference,” said police spokesperson Tina McGriff. The community now mourns as police vow justice for the victims of this senseless act of violence.
