An urgent care clinic is facing backlash after staff posted a TikTok video mocking patients. In the now-deleted clip, employees posed next to bodily fluids left on exam tables with captions like “Guess the substance.”
Sutter Health and Sansum Clinic quickly condemned the video, calling it “disrespectful and unacceptable.” The clinic confirmed the employees involved were fired, adding, “Patient trust and dignity are our top priority.”

Social media users were outraged. “How many young women will now fear going to their first appointment?” one wrote. Others questioned the clinic’s culture, saying management failed to train staff on privacy and respect.
The disturbing video sparked a wider discussion about professionalism in healthcare. As one commenter noted, “This isn’t an apology — this is damage control.” Should clinics do more to rebuild trust after such breaches?
