Kelley Mack, known for her role as Addy in The Walking Dead, has died at the age of 33. She passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, in Cincinnati, just weeks after her birthday. Her family announced the news on Instagram and the health site CaringBridge.
“She was a bright, fervent light,” her sister Kathryn wrote. Kelley was surrounded by her mother and aunt in her final moments. She had been bravely fighting glioma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer, since late 2024.

Kelley shared her journey online, telling fans about her symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. In January, she wrote, “Due to surgery, I’ve lost the use of my right leg,” but added that she was thankful for her family, faith, and support.
Her acting credits also include Chicago Med, Broadcast Signal Intrusion, and crew work on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. A memorial will be held on August 16 in Glendale, Ohio, with another in Los Angeles later.
“This journey has not been easy, but things are getting better,” she once wrote.
