Country singer Miranda Lambert is under fire for her actions at the Montana Festival. On July 14, a video surfaced showing Lambert scolding the crowd during her performance, prompting many to leave. Wearing a cowboy hat and denim dress, Lambert addressed the audience, saying, “I can see your head is not turned the right way, which is this way,” pointing to herself.
Some fans cheered Lambert’s comments, but others were unhappy. She told those not interested in her performance, “So, if you came to visit, you can do it somewhere else.” A concertgoer noted, “We left. As did LOTS of the crowd.” Another criticized, “This is terrible.”
Despite the backlash, some defended Lambert. “Honestly she was amazing. We were right up front and loved every second of it,” one fan said. Others praised her honesty, with one admirer stating, “She is just brutally honest. Something so many of us lack.”
This isn’t Lambert’s first incident. During a Las Vegas concert, she stopped mid-song to reprimand fans taking selfies, saying, “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, and it’s pissed me off a little bit.” This led to more fans leaving the concert.
