Julia Wandelt, who claims to be missing child Madeleine McCann, has shared a major DNA update. Wandelt gained global attention in 2023, citing physical similarities and vague childhood memories of abduction.
Despite extensive investigations, Madeleine’s disappearance from a Portuguese vacation home in 2007 remains unsolved. The U.K. Home Office recently allocated $248,000 to the case, while German prosecutors focus on Christian B., a primary suspect.
Wandelt insists she is Madeleine, stating, “I have never stopped believing I am Madeleine McCann… No, I am not crazy.” She described her alleged abduction on the Break The Ice Podcast: “I remember being taken… I remember that I was put into the car. I remember that someone used something like a syringe to put something [in] my body.”

DNA testing on Dr. Phil revealed she is “100 percent from Poland,” contradicting her claims. However, she argues a forensic expert found genetic similarities between her and Madeleine. Despite skepticism, she remains determined, stating her DNA was submitted for further investigation, as Kate and Gerry McCann declined to participate.
