A 27-year-old woman who lost six stone in nine months on Mounjaro has revealed the harsh side effects she experienced.
Bethany Diana said the weight-loss jab helped her drop from a size 18 to a size eight. But she also dealt with diarrhoea, nausea, constipation, reflux, “sulphur burps,” bad breath, and some hair loss. The drug also suppressed her appetite, and she noticed body changes from rapid weight loss.
Despite this, she says the side effects were temporary and the results were worth it.
Health officials stress that Mounjaro should only be used if prescribed. Regulators have recorded serious side effects in rare cases, so medical supervision is essential.
