Dr. Linda Kramer says she experienced five years in heaven while she was clinically dead for 15 minutes.
In 2001, she suffered a medical emergency and was later pronounced dead before being revived. During that time, she claims she had a vivid out-of-body experience.
She described entering a bright, vast world filled with huge mountains, flowers, lakes, and tall buildings. She said time felt different and that she could move instantly from place to place just by thinking about it.
Although some people report similar near-death experiences, scientists say there is no proof that consciousness continues after death. Many experts believe such visions may be linked to brain activity during trauma.
Still, Dr. Kramer believes what she experienced was real.
