Joyce Gomez’s Disappearance Turns Deadly
Joyce Gomez, 38, vanished after her April 25 shift at The Whiskey Bar in Pass Christian, Mississippi. She was last seen getting into a truck with her ex-boyfriend, Brett Huntley Keel. Her body was found two days later near W Wittman Road. “She has two little kids that are missing their mom,” said coworker Chris Langer.

Keel was arrested on April 28 and charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. Authorities say Gomez didn’t arrive at the location on her own. Her cause of death has not been released. “If she didn’t go home… it was not her choice,” Langer added. Police ask anyone with info to contact them.
