Rebecca Luna, 48, was living a busy life until two years ago when she was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s. She now shares her journey online to raise awareness and find support as her condition slowly worsens.
“I am facing a rare form of Alzheimer’s… This disease is terminal and progressive with a shorter life expectancy,” Rebecca wrote on her GoFundMe page. She explained that one day she won’t be able to work or live alone and needs help covering basic expenses and caring for her two children.

Rebecca first noticed trouble at work when she opened her computer and didn’t know what to do next. What she thought was stress turned out to be the start of memory loss.
She also recalled a scary moment when she left an egg boiling on the stove and went for a walk. She came home to find her house full of smoke. Despite these challenges, Rebecca remains hopeful and tries to stay positive for her family and friends.
