Terry Omara, 60, was once walking marathon distances every other day while caring for his elderly mother. After recovering from a serious case of Long Covid in 2020, he felt strong—until 2022, when everything changed following his Moderna vaccine.

Shortly after the shot, Terry says he was hit with severe fatigue and constant pain. He was later diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). “It’s ruined my life,” he told MailOnline. “The tiredness never goes away. I can barely manage a weekly wash.”
Terry now lives with his 88-year-old mother and takes painkillers to cope. “I see people my mum’s age walking better than me,” he said. Once independent, he now relies on others and avoids any physical strain.

While Covid vaccines have saved millions, studies suggest rare cases of long-term side effects. Yale researchers recently identified a possible “post-vaccination syndrome,” sparking calls for more research into how widespread the issue may be. Moderna has not commented on Terry’s case.
