Jason Segel shared a hilarious moment involving Harrison Ford, who joined him in the Apple TV+ series Shrinking. Before accepting the role, Ford was sent Segel’s 2008 film Forgetting Sarah Marshall—famous for its full-frontal breakup scene.

After watching the movie, Ford sent a text to Shrinking co-creator Bill Lawrence that read: “I’m in. And tell the kid, great d**k.” Segel recalled the moment during a Variety interview, laughing with friend Seth Rogen. “Even if he was out, that would be great,” Rogen joked.

Segel said he wasn’t uncomfortable shooting the nude scene: “I really felt free.” At the time, male nudity in comedies wasn’t common. He saw it as bold and funny, which matched the film’s tone.

Segel even had a similar real-life moment. On a podcast, he revealed waiting naked for a girlfriend as a surprise—only for her to say, “We need to talk.” Just like in the movie, it didn’t go as planned.
