When asked about Elon Musk, Donald Trump calmly stated, “I just wish him well,” saying he was too busy with global affairs to focus on the billionaire. Musk replied with a simple “Likewise.” But beneath the brief exchange lies growing tension.
Musk fiercely criticized Trump’s proposed legislation, calling it a “disgusting abomination” and dubbing it the “Debt Slavery Bill.” He claimed it unfairly cut electric vehicle and solar incentives while protecting oil subsidies. In frustration, Musk added, “Slim and beautiful is the way.”

Musk accused Trump of being named in the Epstein files, stirring shock and doubt online. Critics questioned why Democrats hadn’t used such claims if true. Trump fired back by canceling Musk’s EV mandate and threatening to end government contracts.
Musk hinted at shutting down SpaceX’s Dragon program and supported calls for Trump’s impeachment. Trump stood firm, defending his “Great, Big, Beautiful Bill” and his past support for Musk, but admitted, “I don’t know if we will [have a relationship] anymore.”
