Melania Trump met Donald at a New York Fashion Week party in 1998. Initially hesitant, she was drawn to his charm and confidence. “Hi, I’m Donald Trump,” he said. She gave him her number—on one condition: “Give me your number,” she said. “I’ll give you mine if you promise to call me.”
Their connection quickly deepened. Melania admired his work ethic and authenticity. “He was successful and hardworking, but also so down to earth and real.” Despite a brief breakup in 2000, they reconciled and married in 2005 at Mar-a-Lago. A year later, they welcomed their son, Barron.

In 2016, Melania became First Lady. Balancing public life and motherhood, she remained poised and private. After Trump’s 2020 loss, the couple returned to Mar-a-Lago. In 2024, Trump won re-election, and Melania embraced her second term with renewed confidence.
“She’s more free nowadays to make a statement,” said her photographer, Regine Mahaux. “She loves him and he loves her.”
Now celebrating 20 years of marriage, the Trumps continue to show that loyalty and love can weather the spotlight.
