Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have officially responded to break-up rumors. In a joint statement, they revealed they’ve been “shifting their relationship over the past many months” due to growing public speculation.

Despite the split, the couple emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their daughter, Daisy Dove, 4. “They will continue to be seen together as a family… raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect,” the statement read.

Fans suspected trouble after Bloom attended Jeff Bezos’ Venice wedding alone, while Perry is currently on tour in Australia. During a concert, she appeared emotional, telling fans: “Thank you for always being there for me, Australia. It means the world.”

Adding to the speculation, Bloom posted quotes on Instagram about loneliness and darkness, including: “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness.” While Perry didn’t directly address their relationship, she previously joked: “I thought I was the most hated person on the internet. I think that’s false.”
