Netflix viewers are outraged over the controversial series Supers*,* which contains explicit content. The drama, based on adult star Rocco Siffredi’s life, has sparked intense debate, with some users threatening to cancel their subscriptions.
A deleted Netflix Instagram clip drew harsh criticism. One viewer wrote, “Now we have p*** on Netflix as well? Canceling the account while we speak, my kids can’t see this.” Another added, “Isn’t this inappropriate for a platform where KIDS FOLLOW YOU?!” Others questioned Netflix’s content policies, with one stating, “Are we just making p*** mainstream now? It’s pretty sickening that there is no warning on explicit content like this.”
Netflix describes the seven-part series as “the story of how Rocco Siffredi escaped a humble life and emerged as the world’s greatest p*** star.” Filmmaker Francesca Manieri told The Independent, “My goal was to put men in front of themselves.”
Despite backlash, critics have praised Supers*.* Rohan Naahar of Indian Times wrote, “Borghi is endlessly watchable… he gives Siffredi a sense of vulnerability.” Variety’s Aramide Tinubu called it “a look at the lives people create… when they dare to move through the world as their most authentic selves.”
