Authorities have arrested several people connected to the deaths of actors Matthew Perry and Johnny Wactor, highlighting the tragic consequences of crime and negligence.
Five individuals face charges related to Matthew Perry’s death. The actor, best known as Chandler Bing on “Friends,” passed away in October from “acute effects of ketamine.” Among those charged are Dr. Salvador Plasencia, nicknamed the “Ketamine Queen,” and Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa. They allegedly provided ketamine to Perry in his final weeks. U.S. attorney Martin Estrada emphasized, “You are playing roulette with other people’s lives, just like these five defendants did to Mr. Perry.”
In a separate case, four suspects were arrested for the murder of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor. He was shot on May 25 while trying to prevent a robbery. Wactor’s brother, Grant, praised his bravery, stating, “He was as charismatic in real life as he was on camera.”
Fans of both actors await further investigations. Perry’s death certificate lists the cause as “deferred,” fueling speculation. Meanwhile, Wactor’s family seeks justice, with his mother hoping the suspects are found.
