Brian, an 18-year-old college student, borrowed his father Alex’s laptop for a project. While exploring the files, Brian discovered a password-protected folder named “PRIVATE.” He guessed the password and was shocked to find photos of Alex with Elizabeth White, a girl Brian liked, appearing affectionate. Realizing Alex’s affair, Brian felt betrayed.
At the school graduation ball, Brian revealed the photos to everyone, exposing his father’s infidelity. However, Alex made a shocking confession: “Elizabeth isn’t my girlfriend… She’s actually my daughter,” fathered from a past one-night stand with Carla Thompson, the school’s director. Alex admitted he had kept this secret for years, leaving the audience stunned.
The revelation led to chaos. Elizabeth, feeling betrayed by Alex’s lies about her mother’s death, stormed out after slapping him. Brian also disowned his father, saying, “You’re a liar and a traitor.” Meanwhile, Amanda, Brian’s mother, suffered a heart attack due to the stress.
In the aftermath, Alex was left alone, realizing that his dishonesty had shattered his family. Despite his desire to fix things by telling the truth, his actions only deepened the pain, leaving him to confront the damage he had caused.
