Robert De Niro’s son, Aaron, made a rare public appearance in New York, capturing attention with his bold fashion choices. The 29-year-old was seen sporting long pink dreadlocks under a black headscarf, paired with an oversized black hoodie, patterned leggings, heeled boots, and a black leather backpack with pink embellishments. His look sparked a wave of online reactions, with some praising his style and others questioning his motivations.
Social media users had mixed opinions. Some defended his right to self-expression, with one commenter stating, “Personal fashion choices are personal business. Media needs to stop manufacturing controversy over how people dress.” Others took a more critical stance, with one remarking, “It’s the new hip thing to do for attention. I wish they’d go back to eating Tide Pods.”

Aaron and his twin brother, Julian, were born via surrogacy in 1995 to Robert De Niro and actress Toukie Smith. While Aaron has mostly stayed out of the spotlight, he voiced a character in the 2020 film “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.”
Robert De Niro has always supported his children’s choices, saying, “For my kids, I tell them, if you want to be an actor or you want to do this or that, that’s fine as long as you’re happy. Just don’t sell yourself short.”
