According to TMZ, investigators found an open pill bottle with pills scattered nearby. A detective also noted the presence of three dogs—one loose, one near Arakawa’s body, and another found dead inside a bathroom closet, just 10 to 15 feet away.
Unusual Scene at the Residence
Authorities discovered a heater had been moved but found no gas leaks. Hackman, 95, was found dead in a separate room.
