Son Arrives at Dad’s Funeral in Bright Suit Smiling, Priest Stops the Ceremony

Draped in solemn black, guests paid respects to the late business tycoon, Mr. Sullivan. Suddenly, Alex, his 22-year-old son, burst in wearing a bright green suit, smiling. “Ladies and gentlemen,” the priest said, “Alex, this is not how you arrive at a loved one’s funeral. Please leave and return in a suitable outfit.” Alex chuckled, “Sorry, Father Johnson for wearing a bright green suit to Dad’s funeral, but I’m not here to mourn. My beloved Dad here is a fraud and a big-time liar! But what will shock you even more is that he is still…ALIVE!”

At Mr. Sullivan’s 50th birthday, he made a strange speech and then retreated to his office. Later, a loud crash was heard. Alex found his father trembling with labored breath. “Call an ambulance!” he shouted. His uncle, Carter, drove Mr. Sullivan to the hospital, but Alex was told his father had died from Potassium cyanide poisoning. Alex hurried home to find clues, discovering his dog had licked the spilled liquid but was fine. “Sleeping pills?” Alex whispered after a vet’s examination revealed no cyanide, only sleeping pills.

Alex checked the morgue and found a stranger’s body with his father’s tag. Suspecting his uncle, he searched his father’s car and found an unknown address on the navigator. At an abandoned mansion, he discovered $10 million and two fake passports. “Why is Dad faking his identity?” Alex wondered.

Back at the funeral, Alex placed a mirror near his father’s mouth, showing it misted. “My Dad’s breathing!” he declared, injecting adrenaline. Mr. Sullivan woke up. Later, in interrogation, Mr. Sullivan and Carter confessed their plan to fake his death and flee with the money.
