From Friendship to Marriage
After her divorce from David Ladd, Cheryl Ladd found love again with music producer Brian Russell—who had been close friends with David. Despite criticism, they married in 1981. “We were dragged through the mud for a while, but it made us cling even closer together,” Brian shared.
Life, Love & Blended Family
Living in West Hollywood, Cheryl and Brian raised daughters Jordan and Lindsey from their previous marriages. Cheryl described the girls as “very good sisters” and embraced motherhood fully, saying, “I find a lot more time to be a mother and a wife… The balance is better than it has ever been.”
Creative Partnerships & Personal Growth
Brian supported Cheryl’s career, producing projects like The Grace Kelly Story and helping with her music. “Brian is very strong… a stabilizing factor in our lives,” she said. Their teamwork brought both professional success and deeper emotional connection.
Faith, Family, and Legacy
Even as her career evolved, Cheryl stayed grounded through her faith. “I really turn a lot of myself and my soul and my pain over to the Lord.” Today, she celebrates a life of love, creativity, and purpose alongside her husband and daughter.
