Michael Madsen, known for his unforgettable roles in Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, and The Hateful Eight, has died at 67. He was found unresponsive at his Malibu home on July 3 and pronounced dead from cardiac arrest. Authorities confirmed there was “no foul play” and his death “appeared to be natural causes.”
Madsen was recently focused on independent films like Resurrection Road and was preparing a poetry book titled Tears For My Father. “Michael was…really looking forward to this next chapter,” said his publicist and managers in a joint statement.

His sister, Virginia Madsen, said: “He was thunder and velvet… a poet disguised as an outlaw… I miss my big brother.” She added, “For now, we stay close, and let the silence say what words can’t.”
Stars like Harvey Keitel called him a “great American poet,” while Hateful Eight co-star Walton Goggins wrote: “This man… this poet… F***ing ICON… I love you buddy. A H8TER forever.”
