Corrections Policy

Daily News aims to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we want to fix it openly. This policy applies to all content on dlyviralnews.com, published by Linalab DOOEL.

1. How to request a correction

Email info@dlyviralnews.com with the subject line Correction request and include:

the article URL and title;
the exact passage or claim you believe is incorrect;
a brief explanation and any reliable supporting sources;
the correction you are requesting and an email address for a reply.

A difference of opinion does not by itself establish a factual error.

2. How we handle requests

We assess each request against the article and the supporting information. Requests that are legally regulated, such as privacy requests, are handled within the applicable statutory deadlines.

3. How corrections are shown

Correction: where a material factual error is established, we fix the article and add a dated note explaining what was changed, for example: “Correction: An earlier version of this article stated … . It has been corrected to … .”
Update: where new information becomes available after publication, we add it and label it as an update with the date, so it is not confused with a correction.
Clarification: where an article was accurate but could be misunderstood, we may add wording to make the meaning clearer.
Minor changes that do not affect meaning (spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links) may be made without a note.

4. Removal of content

We do not normally remove published articles. We may remove or restrict an article, or a part of it, where it is seriously inaccurate and cannot be corrected, where there is a legal requirement, or where it creates a risk to someone’s safety or privacy.

5. Personal information and image rights

If an article contains your personal information or an image you hold rights to, you can raise this at the same address. Please see our Privacy Policy for your privacy rights.
