Jennifer Garner, known for her roles in award-winning films, has a deep passion for sustainable living. In 2017, she bought her grandparents’ 20-acre farm in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, which had been in the family since 1936. Originally purchased by her grandparents, Harvey Newton and Violet Margaret Sayre English, during the Great Depression, the land had been untended for over 40 years.
Garner has since transformed the farm into a thriving, organic haven. The land is now home to her uncle Robert and his wife, who grow produce for “Once Upon A Farm,” Jennifer’s children’s food range. She often shares glimpses of farm life on Instagram, like feeding cows or harvesting blackberries. On National Farmer’s Day, she celebrated a successful pumpkin harvest from the farm’s patch.
The farm holds deep personal significance for Garner. “I feel like my sisters and I have been so shaped by our mom’s upbringing. This is just part of our childhood,” she shared. Jennifer is also thrilled that her kids will experience farm life, learning the values of hard work and connection to the earth that she cherishes.
