Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, now 18, legally changes her name to “Shiloh Jolie,” preferring her mother Angelina’s surname. This move aligns with her sisters’ choices, Vivienne and Zahara, who also dropped “Pitt.” Vivienne’s name change notably appears on a musical’s Playbill, marking a significant step in her public identity.
Zahara, too, made headlines when she announced her full name sans “Pitt” while joining a sorority. These changes coincide with ongoing legal battles between Angelina and Brad Pitt, including disputes over a winery and allegations of abuse.
Recent revelations suggest Angelina might have influenced the children’s perception of Brad. Claims from a former security provider indicate Angelina allegedly discouraged the children from spending time with Brad during custody visits. Social media erupted with criticism, with some attributing Angelina’s actions to her own upbringing.
Despite public scrutiny, Angelina aims to be a nurturing mother, drawing from her own mother’s example. In a candid 2011 interview, she emphasized fostering a close bond with her children, much like the one she shared with her mother, Marcheline Bertrand. Her goal is to emulate her mother’s kindness and create a united family despite their challenges.
