Nicolas Cage, known for roles in “Face/Off,” “National Treasure,” and “Leaving Las Vegas,” is also a devoted family man. Despite his dedication, he faces family challenges, especially regarding his twin granddaughters, Cypress and Venice, born to his son Weston Cage and Hila Aronian.
Weston and Hila’s 2018 wedding was a grand event attended by family members except Nicolas, who was overseas filming. Their marriage soon soured, leading to a contentious divorce and family estrangement. Weston and his mother, Christina Fulton, filed defamation lawsuits against Hila, accusing her of spreading falsehoods and creating a hostile environment. Christina claimed, “Hila is stonewalling the entire family with her smear campaign.”
Weston, influenced by his father, pursued acting from a young age. Despite struggles with substance abuse and a messy divorce, he found solace in fatherhood. “Lucian’s saved both of our lives, and we are very blessed to have him,” he said.
Nicolas is proud of Weston and cherishes time with his grandson. “Weston is what I call the total artist,” he said, highlighting his son’s talents. Despite his busy career, Nicolas prioritizes family, even turning down major roles for them. “I needed to be home with my son Weston,” he expressed.
The family remains hopeful for reconciliation, striving to mend rifts and reconnect with the twins. “We remain committed to overcoming these challenges and restoring our family’s harmony,” Christina concluded.
