Music legend Frankie Valli faced unimaginable loss—burying two daughters just six months apart. His stepdaughter Celia died in a car crash in 1980, followed by his daughter Francine, who passed from a drug overdose. “It’s not something you ever, ever get over,” he later shared.
Alongside grief, Frankie battled hearing loss from otosclerosis. A breakthrough surgery restored his hearing, giving him a second chance at music. “That was a moment of truth for me,” he recalled after regaining over 90% hearing in both ears.
Despite the pain, Frankie found love again. In 2023, at 89, he married Jackie Jacobs, nearly 30 years his junior. Their quiet Las Vegas ceremony went viral, touching fans worldwide.
Now 91, Valli still performs and recently received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Addressing viral rumors, he said, “I’m blessed to still be doing what I love… nobody makes me do this.” His journey proves that resilience, love, and music can carry you through even the darkest times..
