When Leonard passed away, his will shocked the family. His fortune—estate, stocks, and savings—would only be inherited if all family members lived under one roof for a year. The strict rules even included daily dinners. Anyone who left or skipped a meal would lose their share.
Tensions quickly rose. During dinner, Leonard’s granddaughter Katie blurted out a painful secret: “Why don’t we talk about Mom’s letters?” hinting that Olivia’s eldest son might not be Thomas’s biological child. This revelation, encouraged by Leonard’s widow Evelyn, threatened to destroy the family.
Olivia overheard a secret conversation—Evelyn had manipulated the will and placed her secret grandson Morrison as overseer. Her plan: expose Jack’s paternity and redirect the inheritance.
To protect Jack, Olivia offered her share to Morrison in exchange for silence. Evelyn agreed. At dinner, she claimed it was all a joke. The family continued, pretending everything was normal. Olivia knew some truths are best kept hidden—for the sake of peace and love.
