During a joint session of Congress, First Lady Melania Trump captivated attention with her composed and poised demeanor. President Donald Trump acknowledged her contributions, saying, “A very loving person, our magnificent First Lady of the United States,” which prompted an enthusiastic applause.
A Shift in Demeanor
Body language expert Judi James noted Melania’s smile was “cheek-rounded” and filled with “authentic pride and pleasure,” a stark contrast to her typically reserved expressions. She “beamed back like a smitten teenager,” signaling a newfound ease in the political spotlight. Her tailored gray Dior suit and relaxed posture further emphasized her confidence.
