At his father Arnold’s funeral, Ryan’s dog Bella began barking uncontrollably and leapt onto the casket. Alarmed, Ryan opened it—only to find it empty. His mother fainted, and Ryan rushed her to the hospital, then contacted police.
Investigating on his own, Ryan discovered strange behavior around the morgue and his father’s business. He learned that Arnold’s secretary, Miss Pearson, was the sole beneficiary of a $7 million life insurance policy. She disappeared just before boarding a flight to Morocco.
Suspecting his father faked his death, Ryan followed a new lead—an expensive figurine his father had tried to collect. Ryan bought the rare piece and had it listed at an auction, hoping to lure Arnold out.
His plan worked.
Arnold appeared and bid $1 million. As he tried to leave, police arrested him. “You faked your death for a new life and left us grieving,” Ryan said. “You taught me to do what’s right—not what’s selfish.”
Arnold was taken away in handcuffs. Justice caught up with him, all thanks to a loyal dog and a determined son.
