Big Wedding, Bigger Protections
As Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez tie the knot in Venice, reports of a detailed prenuptial agreement have surfaced. Given Bezos’ $263.8 billion net worth, legal experts say the prenup could rival the complexity of a business merger.
Lawyer Weighs In
California attorney Alphonse Provinziano told RadarOnline the deal is likely “ironclad” and built to withstand legal challenges. “Jeff Bezos doesn’t just want a prenup—he wants one that will survive any legal challenge,” he explained, noting it likely includes intricate financial documentation.
Legal Prep Behind the Scenes
Provinziano added that Sanchez and her team likely had ample time to review the agreement. “It’s a lot of work for teams of lawyers,” he said, especially given Bezos’ business interests.
Local Backlash in Venice
Despite the glamour, not all Venetians are thrilled. Activists protested the ceremony’s location, forcing a last-minute venue change. One protestor proudly said, “We’re nobodies… and we managed to move one of the most powerful people in the world!”
The wedding may be grand, but it’s stirring up headlines for more than just the guest list.
