Awkward Exit Sparks Debate
Just days before their $63M Venetian wedding, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez were filmed leaving their hotel. While Bezos exited briskly, waving to cameras, Sanchez followed behind. Critics online called out Bezos for barely helping her into the boat. One viewer wrote, “He didn’t even help her down,” while others questioned his body language.
Backlash Over Wedding Invite
Leaked wedding invites added fuel to the chatter. The pastel, cartoon-style design surprised many, with one comment reading, “This is the UGLIEST invitation I’ve ever seen 😂.” Despite criticism, the invite included a thoughtful gesture—donations in guests’ names to local Venetian organizations instead of gifts.
A Wedding Fit for Billionaires
The three-day affair includes 250 guests, 90 private jets, and exclusive hotel buyouts. The ceremony is set on the private island of San Giorgio, with events from June 26–28. Organizers sourced 80% of services locally, from Murano glassware to gourmet pastries.
The “Wedding of the Century”
With celebrity guests like Oprah and DiCaprio, Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding has captivated the world. Despite online scrutiny, the couple continues to celebrate in extravagant style.
