In a recent interview on CBS Sunday Morning, former President Bill Clinton spoke candidly about Donald Trump’s leadership and Joe Biden’s mental fitness.
Clinton criticized Trump for trying to dominate the legal system. “We’ve never seen anything like this… ‘It’s my way or the highway,’” he said, calling Trump’s style unpopular and divisive. He believes Trump’s legal troubles are catching up with him, adding, “The courts, including ones he appointed, are pushing back.”
He also denounced Trump for limiting legal representation based on politics, saying, “That ain’t America… both sides must be heard.”
On Biden, Clinton defended the president but acknowledged public concern over his age. He said he never walked away from a meeting with Biden thinking he was unfit. However, newly released 2023 audio of Biden struggling to recall key dates sparked strong reactions online. Listeners described the clips as “heartbreaking” and “frightening.”
Clinton urged Americans to focus on unity, not division. His comments reignited national debates about leadership, age, and the future of American democracy.
