Kate Middleton and Prince William finally posted a photo of their youngest son, Prince Louis, to mark his 6th birthday, ending their recent social media silence. The picture shows Louis smiling widely with the caption, “Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! 🎂,” and thanks fans for their birthday wishes.
Fans eagerly responded, with comments like, “Happy birthday Prince Louis – growing up quickly, lovely picture 🎉🎁,” and, “Louis looks so much like George here!”
This update follows speculation about the lack of a birthday tribute on the actual day, April 23. Prior to the post, fans had expressed concern over the absence of new photos, and some worried whether the “Mother’s Day picture controversy” might have influenced the delay.
In light of Kate’s ongoing battle with cancer, the delay in sharing the photo added to public intrigue. Kate has been trying to shield her children from the impact of her illness while managing public expectations and family celebrations.
