Chelsea dreamed of a fairy tale wedding with Rasmus, whom she met at a bakery. “I’ll be seeing you around, Chelsea,” he said, sealing their fate. Two years later, the big day arrived, but something was amiss. Despite preparations with her sister Jess, the venue was eerily empty. Even Rasmus was nowhere to be found.
Panicking, Chelsea called her wedding planner, Brenda, only to learn the unthinkable: the wedding had been canceled, per an email from Chelsea’s corporate account. Suspicion fell on Rasmus, the only other person with access. Confronting him at home, Chelsea discovered he’d canceled out of cold feet, not wanting to marry yet fearing her reaction.
Heartbroken but realizing Rasmus wasn’t right for her, Chelsea faced an unexpected truth. Her parents, initially suspected, were innocent. Despite the devastation, Chelsea found relief in clarity about her future.
Now, she ponders the fate of her wedding dress, reflecting on a day that shattered her dreams but revealed her true path forward.
