Reese Witherspoon, 47, and Kevin Costner, 68, are two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, both recently divorced. Witherspoon ended her marriage to Jim Toth earlier this year after over ten years together. Announcing the split on social media, she expressed their commitment to co-parenting their son and maintaining mutual respect.
Reflecting on her divorces, Witherspoon discussed her first divorce from Ryan Phillippe, highlighting the contrast between then and now. She appreciates being able to control the narrative this time, saying, “It feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice.”
Costner also recently finalized his divorce from Christine Baumgartner after a contentious legal battle. Despite expressing financial concerns, he was seen purchasing expensive women’s gifts, which fueled rumors of a romance with Witherspoon.
The rumors gained traction, with fans reacting in various ways, including some excitement: “OMG, this would be such a cute couple!” However, Witherspoon’s representative quickly debunked the rumors, stating, “This story is completely fabricated and not true.” Despite the speculation, Witherspoon remains focused on her family and career.
