Penny Lancaster Stewart, 53, wife of rock legend Rod Stewart, caused a stir during a beach outing in Sardinia, Italy. Flaunting her figure in a tiny black swimsuit aboard a $50 million yacht, Penny’s look drew mixed reactions online. Critics were quick to voice their disapproval. “Oh dear!” one exclaimed. “Is that really her?” questioned another, while a third commented, “That is not a good look.”
Despite the backlash, some netizens defended Penny’s natural appearance. One supporter wrote, “Thank you, Penny, for making me feel better about my 50 yo Mom bod [sic].” Another added, “The swimsuit is not flattering. She is in her 50s so stop the criticism. She is not ‘wow’ but no need for name calling [sic].”
In June, Penny shared a photo on Instagram, showcasing her legs while posing with her sons, Alastair and Aiden, at Rod’s son Liam Stewart’s wedding. She looked glamorous in a shiny lilac satin dress with spaghetti straps and a thigh-high slit. Fans praised her look, with one commenting, “Love your dress you look gorgeous!” Another remarked on the family resemblance, “Aidan looks like his Dad.”
Rod and Penny have been married for 16 years and prioritize intimacy in their relationship. Rod shared, “We hug each other—sometimes in bed, sometimes out of bed, all throughout the day. It’s a wonderful relationship.” Despite public scrutiny, Penny’s grace and confidence remain evident in her strong family bonds and fashion statements.
