Carrie Underwood stunned in a high-slit metallic dress at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala on June 13. While some fans loved her look, others were critical. One commented, “Surely, she has better taste than THAT!!!” and another said, “The dress is not flattering.” However, some fans defended her, with one saying, “Strongest legs in country music.”
Underwood attended the gala to celebrate her friend and co-writer Hillary Lindsey’s induction. She shared her excitement on social media, saying, “Had the best night celebrating Hillary Lindsey… There is no one who deserves it more!” Underwood praised Lindsey for her contributions to music, expressing pride and joy in her friend’s achievement.
Aside from the gala, Underwood recently performed at the Carolina Country Music Festival in heavy rain. Despite taking a hard tumble off stage, she reassured fans of her well-being, posting humorously about the incident: “Well, last night sure was fun! And though the ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget!”
