Derby Day Appearance
Simone Biles and husband Jonathan Owens turned heads at the 2025 Kentucky Derby in matching lavender outfits. During their E! News interview, Biles excitedly said their future goal is “building a family!”, a response that sparked mixed reactions online.
Fans Divided Over Dynamic
While Biles led the conversation with enthusiasm, some viewers felt Owens seemed cut off or overshadowed. One commenter wrote, “Girl let that man speak… she cut him off.” Others described Biles as “controlling” and “overbearing.”
Biles’ Views on Motherhood
This isn’t the first time Biles spoke about having kids. After the 2024 Olympics, she told Hoda Kotb, “Yes, most definitely,” when asked if she saw herself as a mom. Fans had mostly reacted positively back then.
Love & Support Amid Criticism
Despite some backlash, the couple’s love remains strong. Owens even skipped NFL training to support Biles at the Olympics, with his team’s full approval. The couple continues to inspire fans with their bond, ambition, and devotion.
Sometimes passion is misread—true love finds balance.
