Kieran Culkin made a memorable debut in “Home Alone” as the cheeky, bed-wetting cousin, Fuller McCallister. His playful performance left a lasting impact, showcasing his early talent. Despite being overshadowed by his older brother Macaulay’s fame, Kieran’s role hinted at a bright future.
Growing up in a crowded Yorkville apartment, Kieran was one of seven siblings. While Macaulay quickly rose to stardom with “Home Alone,” Kieran and his siblings also pursued acting. Kieran witnessed the intense media scrutiny and the toll it took on their family, recalling, “It has already been hard on us, and I see no point to it,” as he sought to shield his family from further embarrassment.
As an adult, Kieran took a step back from the spotlight to reflect on his career. He later returned to acting with renewed purpose and found success in roles such as in “Succession,” winning a Critics Choice Award. Reflecting on his journey, Kieran shared, “Maybe I’ve chosen the wrong thing,” acknowledging the challenges of balancing fame and family life.
Despite his high profile, Kieran maintains a low profile and continues to grow both personally and professionally.
