Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, celebrated her 18th birthday on April 18. Recently, a playbill for her high school musical revealed she is now using the name Suri Noelle. This change hints at a shift in her identity, moving away from her father’s surname.
Despite Tom Cruise’s continued financial support, including covering Suri’s education and living expenses, there is a notable disconnect between them. A source revealed, “He does not exist to Katie or Suri, and his daughter does not want to rely on him for anything.” Speculation suggests this estrangement may be due to Katie Holmes’ and Suri’s disapproval of the Church of Scientology.
In other news, Tom Cruise recently posed for a photo with his other children, Connor and Bella, for the first time in 15 years. The snapshot, shared by former NFL player Derrick Brooks, caused a stir among fans. Brooks expressed his excitement: “Good Evening, Wow, look who stopped by my office before our [Tampa Bay Lightning] game tonight! @tomcruise.”
Bella, now 31, and Connor, 29, were adopted by Cruise and Nicole Kidman during their marriage, which lasted from 1990 to 2001. Despite their parents’ divorce, their upbringing within the Church of Scientology continues to draw public interest.
