Miley Cyrus took the stage at the Oscars to present the award for Best Sound, but it wasn’t her dazzling Alexander McQueen gown that had people talking—it was her bleached eyebrows. The bold look sparked a frenzy online.
Social media quickly reacted. One fan asked, “Love you Miley, but what on earth have you done to your eyebrows?” Another joked, “The biggest question of the night: who stole Miley’s eyebrows? They must be apprehended and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!”
Despite the eyebrow buzz, Cyrus dazzled in a black beaded gown with black lace gloves and a silver bracelet. She was joined by her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, who complemented her in a sleek black suit with a beaded flower lapel.
Though she wasn’t up for an Oscar, Cyrus has had a winning awards season, taking home her first Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Beyoncé. “Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyoncé was a dream come true,” she said.
