Olivia, pregnant with her second child, reluctantly joined her friend Ava for a pottery party to escape the stress of pregnancy. What began as a fun evening quickly unraveled when another woman shared a story about her boyfriend Malcolm missing their son’s birth to attend his niece’s delivery—“Her name was Tess,” the woman said.
Tess was Olivia’s daughter. Shaken, Olivia showed the woman a photo of her husband and daughter. The woman froze. “That’s him… he’s the father of my son too.” Olivia’s world collapsed—her husband had a secret child and a double life.
Back home, Olivia confronted Malcolm. He admitted everything. The man she trusted had betrayed her while she was pregnant with their second child.
Now, with weeks to go before giving birth, Olivia is preparing to raise her children without him. “This is it, Ava. I’m done with him,” she said.
When trust is shattered, sometimes the bravest act is walking away—for your children and yourself.
