Jiggly Caliente, beloved star of RuPaul’s Drag Race and Pose, has passed away at 44. Her family shared the heartbreaking news, saying: “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world as Jiggly Caliente.”
Just days before, her family revealed she had suffered a severe infection, leading to the loss of most of her right leg. Due to her health struggles, Jiggly had to step back from judging the upcoming season of Drag Race Philippines.
Fans around the world loved Jiggly for her “infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity.” Her family added, “Her legacy is one of love, courage, and light.”
Jiggly’s passing follows the recent death of fellow Drag Race star The Vivienne earlier this year. While the loss is devastating, Jiggly’s impact on the LGBTQ+ community and the entertainment world will continue to inspire for generations to come.
